In production, due to the needs of processing technology and assembly technology, crane drivers often encounter the operation of turning objects 90 degrees or 180 degrees in their work. There are two most common forms of flipping: one is ground flipping, and the other is air flipping. Ground turning is generally carried out with a single hook, and aerial turning must be carried out with a double hook. Today, the editor of our factory will introduce to you the method of operating the overhead crane to turn objects on the ground.
The bottom turning operation is applicable to some casting and forging blanks that are not afraid of collision. The essentials of the flip operation are:
(1) The hanging method of the overturned object should be correct, and the rope should be hung on the bottom or lower part of the overturned object. Generally, the lock point of the dead circle buckle is placed at the lower part of the object to be turned away from the center of gravity.
(2) After the rope buckle is fastened, push the handle of the lifting controller to gradually raise the hook.
The method of swinging is particularly suitable for some disc-shaped and flat-shaped work flips that are not afraid of collision. The essentials of its operation are: according to the size and shape of the object to be overturned, first lift the hanging object to be slightly off the ground, and then quickly drive the cart or trolley to artificially make the hanging object start to swing to its maximum swing. At the moment of cornering, immediately start the lifting mechanism to quickly drop the object at the fastest descending speed. When the lower corner of the flipped object is in contact with the ground, as shown in the figure below. The hook continues to descend, and the object falls on its own under the action of the gravitational moment. When the slackness of the wire rope is enough, the descending stops, and the cart or trolley is driven back quickly to adjust the position of the car body to achieve the object being overturned. After turning over, the wire rope is in a vertical position. When flipping, it is necessary to prevent objects from colliding with surrounding equipment, grasp the timing of flipping, and move quickly and accurately.
For some objects that are afraid of collision, such as precision parts such as machined gears and hydraulic control panels. Generally, it is done with a belt turning operation, as shown in the figure below.
The specific operation method of belt turning is as follows: during belt turning operation, first hoist the turned object off the ground, and then stand up and slowly descend. The horizontal component of the tight wire rope causes the object to tip over with the pivot A as the center. When the center of gravity G of the suspended object exceeds the fulcrum A, the object is under the action of the gravitational moment. Will dump on its own. When the overturned object is dumped on its own, it is necessary to start the lifting mechanism to drop the hook and control its descending speed. When dropping the hook, keep the hook vertical
a) Lifting hook rope b) Driving with objects c) Dropping hook and flipping
It is worth noting that for this operation with flipping, the object to be flipped must be a flat or disk-shaped object, the center of gravity must be higher after being lifted, and the base surface of the bottom must be narrow. In addition, during the operation, the hook should be kept vertical. After the wire rope is pulled up to a certain angle, it is not allowed to hoist and wind, so as to prevent the wire rope from randomly winding on the drum or falling off from the drum and winding on the shaft. Twist the wire rope. Furthermore, when the object is turned over, the lateral movement of the car body and the rapid drop of the hook must be coordinated with each other.
When operating the crane to turn objects, you must pay attention to safety, and it is best to operate by operators with long-term experience.
