The rope guide is composed of a rope guide nut, a rope guide plate, and a connecting steel belt. It is a device used on the wire rope electric hoist to prevent the wire rope from being disordered. Prevent the phenomenon of job-hopping, leading to wire rope disorder, deformation, accelerated wear, etc. and reduce safety. At present, the commonly used ring type rope guide, as shown in the figure, consists of several segments (3-5 segments) forming a ring, also called a nut, which is sleeved on the outside of the reel and cannot rotate by itself. The thread pair relationship moves along the coaxial direction of the coil.
The wire rope is automatically and regularly wound to prevent the phenomenon of hopping, which will cause the wire rope to be disordered, deformed, and accelerate wear, which will reduce safety. Another function of the rope guide is to automatically limit up and down. When the electric hoist rises or drops to a certain height, the rope guide pushes in or pulls out the pull rod on the electric hoist drum, so that the fire stopper is broken. Electric or energized state, so that the hoist automatically stops or runs. Therefore, the role of the rope guide is still very important.
The rope guide itself cannot rotate. When the reel rotates, it will be wound with the wire rope and moved along the axial direction driven by the thread groove. The wound wire rope can be accurately introduced and led out of the spiral groove of the drum at any time. The wire rope is driven by the rope guide. The gap is discharged. The guide rope nut engages with the rope groove of the reel, and the rotation of the reel drives the guide rope nut to move laterally to ensure that the wire rope does not cause disorder in the rope groove of the reel. The rope guide plate moves laterally to both ends of the drum. When it reaches the limit position, it drives the limit rods installed on the drum shell to move together. When the limit position reaches the limit position, it touches the limit switch on the main motor of the installation belt to play a limiting role.
The rope guide is a vulnerable part of the wire rope electric hoist. The installation of the rope guide first stops the power supply of the electric hoist, removes the wire rope, and removes the 6-point screw of the rope guide. The rope guide can be taken along the wire rope. During this period, be sure to arrange the wire rope in the rope groove before installing the rope guide. It has been avoided that the rope guide will be damaged again if the wire rope is not in the groove after the power is on.
When using the electric hoist, the user must abide by the operating regulations, and it is forbidden to pull diagonally. When the rope guide of the electric hoist is damaged, it should be replaced in time to avoid the messy rope of the steel wire rope and cause damage.
