What is Lifting electromagnet
A device having an iron core and using a current-carrying coil to make it magnetic like a magnet is called an lifting electromagnet. The core should be made of soft iron or silicon steel that is easily magnetized and easily disappears. Such an electromagnet is magnetic when energized, and disappears after the power is turned off. Electromagnets have an extremely wide range of applications in daily life. The invention of the lifting electromagnet also greatly increased the power of the generator.
Lifting electromagnets have many advantages: the lifting electromagnet magnetism can be controlled by the on-off current; the magnetic can be controlled by the strength of the current or the number of coil turns; it can also be controlled by changing the size of the resistance control current. Magnetic size; its magnetic pole can be controlled by changing the direction of the current, and so on. That is to say, the strength of magnetism can be changed, the presence or absence of magnetism can be controlled, and the direction of the magnetic pole can be changed.
Applications of lifting electromagnet
Lifing electromagnet applications include coal preparation, power plant coal transportation, metallurgy and iron and steel, metal mines, cement and building materials, petrochemicals, shipbuilding, port transportation, brick ceramics, glass, papermaking, grain, oil, food, and railway logistics.
Main features of lifting electromagnets:
- Using a fully sealed structure, good moisture resistance.
- Optimized by computer design, reasonable structure, light weight, large suction, low energy consumption.
- Excitation coils are treated by a special process to improve the electrical and mechanical properties of the coils. Insulation materials have a thermal rating of Class C and a long service life.
- The rated electrification continuation rate of ordinary electromagnets has been increased from the previous 50% to 60%, which has improved the use efficiency of electromagnets.
- The ultra-high temperature type electromagnet adopts a unique heat insulation method, in which the temperature of the sucked object has increased by 700°C in the past 600°C, thereby expanding the application range of the electromagnet.
- Easy installation, operation and maintenance.
Lifting electromagnet Safe operation essentials
- Within the operating range of lifting electromagnet, (R<5M) is not allowed to stand people.
- When the lifting electromagnet descends, it must not be dropped so as not to damage the coil.
- Metals with a temperature of 200 degrees Celsius or above are generally not allowed to be lifted. When hoisting metals of 300 degrees Celsius to 700 degrees Celsius, lifting electromagnets with special heat sinks should be used.
- Lifting electromagnets continuous operation, the summer cannot exceed 8h , the winter cannot exceed 12h, in order to prevent the coil from overheating and burning.
- When the suction material temperature is lower than 100°C, please use the normal temperature type. When it exceeds 100°C, please use the high temperature type. Please indicate when exceeding 600°C.
- When the power continuity rate exceeds 60%, use high frequency.
- When the water suction hanging material, please use submersible type (dive depth ≤ 100 meters), submersible electromagnet parameters are the same as normal temperature type. If the user requires a submersible type, please specify when ordering.
- Supporting equipment; single use, according to power consumption (current) selection of rectifier control equipment and auxiliary equipment, multiple units used in conjunction, according to the number of connected units of power consumption (current) and the choice.
- Check whether the components of the electromagnetic chuck are damaged before use or replace it.
- Pay attention to observe the surrounding before lifting, do not pass on equipment and personnel.
- Check before lifting whether it reaches rated current.
- Before lifting, pay attention to check whether there is non-magnetic material between the lifting object and the lifting electromagnetic sucker so as not to affect the lifting height.
- Lifting electromagnetic chuck must be placed directly above the suction, and then power, so as to avoid the emergence of small iron.
- When landing must pay attention to observe the surrounding environment, pay attention to safety.
Classification of electromagnets
Scrap iron lifting electromagnetic chuck: or lifting electromagnet, scrap electromagnet, scrap iron electromagnet, many titles, but the only purpose is to lift the scrap iron. Lifting scrap iron is not the same as the material, except for lifting weight. In addition to the quality of the body, it is also necessary to look at the density of the material. The higher the density , the more the hoisting and the lower the density, the smaller the hoisting. Very Many very cheap electromagnets flicker the customer. In fact, there’s nothing wrong with the material, the winding of magnet is not enough, and there is a situation where the electromagnets with poor waterproof performance , and it starts to go wrong after rain.
In one word, the premise of selection is expensive, and expensive is not necessarily good .But cheaper ones certainly not good.
Steel pipe lifting electromagnetic sucker: Steel pipe lifting electromagnetic sucker is a large class of electromagnet mechanism, with high frequency and high pressure Load characteristics. It takes 24 hours to run for a long time without any heat or resistance. Appearance requires beauty, quality needs excellent
Excavator electromagnetic chuck: also known as excavator electromagnetic chuck, digging electromechanical magnet, hook machine electromagnetic sucker, hook electromechanical magnet. It is a kind of electromagnetic sucker that evolved from scrap electromagnet. It is installed on the excavator and it is convenient and quick. Ability to work flexibly. Disadvantages: The generator is relatively oil-consuming.
Automatic electromagnet: ensure 24 hours of continuous work, suction must be strong and reliable, beautiful appearance, security within the full voltage.
There is also any kind Classification of magnet by the type of power, in a word, it can be divided into DC magnet and AC magnet, the magnet we use in crane is mostly DC magnet, we will not in deep discussion of the difference between DC and AC liftingmagnet here in this article.
