The hoist is a kind of hoisting equipment specially used to operate the fast gate. The fast gate is used to protect the unit or the steel pipe. It is usually hung above the orifice. When an accident occurs to the generator, water pump or steel pipe, it can quickly cut off the water flow and avoid the expansion of the accident. The closing time of the fast gate should meet the protection requirements for the unit and the steel pipe. Generally, it is required that the hoist can close the fast gate within 2 minutes. At the same time, in order to prevent the bottom edge and sill of the gate from being damaged due to violent collision, the fast hoist should be equipped with a speed limiting device to limit the descending speed of the gate to 5m/min when it approaches the sill, but there is no limit to the speed during the descent process. Requirements, as long as it does not cause damage to the parts of the hoist.
