Common faults and solutions of bridge crane reducer

The reducer is an important component of the operating mechanism of the bridge crane , which can reduce the speed and provide greater torque for the operation of the crane. Fault 1: Periodic gear flutter phenomenon, the driven wheel is particularly obvious

Reason: the pitch error is too large, the tooth side clearance is too bad

Solution: repair, reinstall

Fault two, violent metal friction, vibration of the reducer, clinking of the casing

reason:

(1) The backlash of the transmission gear is too small, the two gear shafts are not parallel, and the tooth tip has a sharp edge

(2) Gear working surface is not flat

Solution: (1), (2) Repair and reinstall

Trouble three, when the gear meshes, there is uneven knocking sound, and the casing vibrates

Reason: oil defect on the tooth surface, the gear is not in contact along the entire tooth surface, but in a corner

Solution: Replace the gear

Fault four, the shell, especially the bearing where the bearing is installed heats up

(1) The bearing is broken

(2) The journal is stuck

(3) Gear wear

(4) Lack of lubricating oil

Solution: (1), (2) Replace the bearing

Fault five, split surface oil leakage

reason:

(1) Seal failure

(2) Box body deformation

(3) Uneven split surface

(4) Loose connecting bolts

Solution:

(1) Replace the seal

(2) Check and repair the split surface of the box body, and replace it if the deformation is serious.

(3) Shovel the split surface

(4) Clean the oil return tank and tighten the bolts

Fault six, the reducer vibrates on the base

reason:

(1) Loose anchor bolts

(2) It is not concentric with the connecting axis of each component

(3) Poor rigidity of the base

Solution:

(1) Adjust the anchor bolts

(2) Alignment adjustment

(3) Reinforce the base to increase rigidity

Fault seven, the reducer heats up as a whole

Reason: too much lubricating oil

Solution: adjust the amount of oil

In the process of using bridge cranes in normal times, companies should do a good job in the maintenance of equipment, and regularly maintain and overhaul the reducer.
