Focus on the China Central Asia Summit

From May 18th to 19th, the China China Asia Summit will be held in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. This is the first time in the 31 years since China established diplomatic relations with the five Central Asian countries that the heads of state of the six countries have held a summit in physical form, which is of milestone significance in the development history of China's relations with Central Asian countries. In January 2022, at the video summit marking the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the five Central Asian countries, all parties jointly announced the creation of a community with a shared future between China and Central Asia. Central Asian countries and China have established a series of dialogue and cooperation mechanisms, continuously deepening political mutual trust, upgrading practical cooperation, and becoming a model for building a new type of international relations.
