Malaysia has approved a total of 163.3 billion ringgit (US $4.43 billion) of foreign direct investment, and the amount of investment from China will reach 55.4 billion ringgit, accounting for 33.9%.
According to China's statistics, the bilateral trade volume between China and Malaysia in 2022 was US $203.6 billion, up 15.3% year on year. China has become Malaysia's largest trading partner for 14 consecutive years.
"Investing in Malaysia" is an important annual economic forum in Malaysia. Anwar stressed at the forum that Malaysia will maintain an open economic policy, adapt to new changes, seize new opportunities and promote inclusive and sustainable economic development.
