Crane rail specification/model and material introduction

Crane rails are divided into three types: heavy rails, light rails, and lifting rails. The editor will introduce the specifications and materials of the crane rails.

(1) Knowledge of heavy rails: rails with a nominal weight of more than 30kg per meter. Both train rails and crane rails are heavy rails. Train rails: used for laying railways, they must withstand the pressure, impact load and friction during train operation, and require sufficient strength and certain toughness. The quality requirements are strict. In addition to ensuring its chemical composition, it also requires inspection of mechanical properties, drop weight test and acid leaching macrostructure. The production plants include Wuhan Iron and Steel, Anshan Iron and Steel, Baotou Iron and Steel, and Panzhihua Iron and Steel. Crane rail: Crane rail, which has a low height, large head width and waist thickness, and only requires inspection of chemical composition and tensile strength. Used to lay cranes and trolley tracks. The production plants include Anshan Iron and Steel and Panzhihua Iron and Steel.

(2) Light rail knowledge: it is a rail with a nominal weight of less than or equal to 30kg per meter. The quality requirement of light rail is lower than that of heavy rail, and only the chemical composition, tensile strength, hardness and drop weight test are required. Main use: Light rail is mainly used for laying temporary transportation lines and light locomotive lines in forest areas, mining areas, factories and construction sites. It is often used for large-country running tracks of single-girder cranes with small tonnage .

Railway rail model:

(1) Light rail model, rail material: Q235, 55Q; rail specification: 30kg/m, 24kg/m, 22kg/m, 18kg/m, 15kg/m, 12kg/m, 8kg/m.

(2) Heavy-duty rail model, rail material: 45Mn, U71Mn; rail specification: 50kg/m, 43kg/m, 38kg/m, 33kg/m.

Lifting rail model, rail material: U71Mn; rail specification: QU70, QU80, QU100, QU120. The number after QU indicates the width of the rail.
