2. Responsibilities and requirements of commanders:

• 2.1 The commander should contact the crane driver according to the signal requirements of this standard.
• 2.2 The command signal issued by the commander must be clear. precise.
• 2.3. The commander should stand in a safe position so that the driver can see the command signal clearly. When following the load operation command, the load should be directed to avoid people and obstacles at any time.
• 2.4. When the commander cannot see the driver and the load clearly at the same time. An intermediate commander must be added to transmit the signal level by level. When a wrong signal is found, a stop signal should be sent out immediately.
• 2.5. Before the load drops. When the commander must confirm that the landing area is safe. Before sending out the landing signal.
• 2.6. When multiple people are tying the same load, they should make a call and answer before hoisting, and only after confirming that the tying is correct, one person can be responsible for the command.

• 2.9 Commanders should wear distinctive signs, such as armbands marked with the word "command", helmets of special colors, work clothes, etc.
• 2.10. The palm and back of the glove worn by the commander should be easy to distinguish.

3. The responsibilities and requirements of the crane driver

• 3.1 The driver must follow the command of the commander. When the command signal is unknown, the driver should send a "repeated" signal to ask, and only after the command intention is clear, can the driver drive.
• 3.2 The driver must be proficient in the general hand signals and various related command signals stipulated by the standard, and work closely with the commanders.
• 3.3. When the signal sent by the commander violates the provisions of this standard, the driver has the right to refuse to implement it.
• 3.4. The driver must ring a bell to warn before driving. If necessary, also ring a bell during lifting to notify the ground personnel threatened by the load to evacuate.
• 3.5. During the lifting process, the driver should obey the "emergency stop" signal sent by anyone.

Management regulations

• 1. For crane drivers and commanders, relevant departments must carry out the safety technical training of this standard, and they can only operate or command after passing the examination and obtaining the certificate.
• 2. The audio signal is an auxiliary signal of gesture signal or semaphore, and the user can determine whether to adopt it according to work needs.
• 3. The color of the command flag is red and green. Materials that are not easy to fade and wrinkle should be used. Its stipulation: The face width should be 400×500mm, the flagpole diameter should be 25mm, and the flagpole length should be 500mm.
