Six matters needing attention in operating single beam crane

Single beam crane also belongs to large lifting machinery, so we must pay attention to relevant safety problems when using it. So what should we pay attention to when using cranes? The following six items, please be sure to do, so as to be safer and more efficient!

Six major issues:

1.  Before the operation of single beam crane, various lifting tools must be checked to ensure that the lifting tools are complete and in good condition. If the rigger has defects, he cannot carry out the work of lifting crane.
2.  Similarly, in the single beam crane, the rope shall be checked. It must be confirmed that the rope is firm, not loose or broken. If an object with edges is bound, a protective object needs to be added between the object and the rope to avoid rope breakage.
3.  It should be noted that the center of gravity of the single beam crane should be found out, and the phenomenon of cable-stayed should not occur. For special lifting objects, the staff should operate from the side.
4.  Don't be too hasty when lifting objects. You must wait a moment until the goods are stable. It is forbidden to put sundries or stand on heavy objects. During lifting, irrelevant personnel shall not pass under the object.
5.  The safety measures for work shall be improved. For example, the staff shall wear safety helmets, have professional personnel for unified command, and all departments shall coordinate their work. When the object is off the ground, it is necessary to check whether the steel wire rope and other parts are safe. If it is unsafe, stop the machine for inspection.
6.  The objects that cannot be lifted by the single beam crane shall not stay in the air for a long time.
