The bridge cranes used in the workshop have various tonnages such as 10 tons, 32 tons, and 50 tons. A customer once said that the lifting capacity of the secondary hook of a 32/5-ton QD double-beam bridge crane that I ordered has dropped a lot, and the secondary hook can only lift up to 3 tons of goods. The technician first checked the electrical system of this double-beam bridge crane. However, after inspection, the results are as follows:
After inspecting the electrical part, it was found that the electrical part of this crane was not faulty, indicating that the problem was not in the electrical system. The technicians then inspected the mechanical parts of the crane and found that the wire rope on the auxiliary hook was worn seriously and the condition was not normal. Then, the hook moving pulley was checked, and there was no abnormality. The fixed pulley cover of the crane trolley was opened and the wire rope was found not on the pulley. On the shaft of the pulley, after inspection, it was found that there was a gap in the rim of the pulley, which caused the wire rope to escape from the pulley rope groove when the auxiliary hook was running. After finding the problem, the technician replaced the customer with a new pulley and replaced the worn wire rope. After restarting the test, the lifting capacity of the auxiliary hook was restored to 5 tons, and everything was normal for the crane.
