China is Georgia's third largest trading partner in 2022

In 2022, Georgia's foreign trade volume reached 19.04 billion US dollars, up 32.8% year on year. Türkiye (US $2.8 billion), Russia (US $2.48 billion) and China (US $1.86 billion) are the top three trade partners of Georgia.

The export volume of Georgia was US $5.59 billion, up 31.8% year on year. The top three export destinations of Georgia are China (US $740 million), Azerbaijan (US $670 million) and Russia (US $650 million). The most exported products of Georgia are copper ore and its concentrate (US $1.02 billion), automobile (US $0.9 billion) and ferroalloy (US $460 million).

The import volume of Georgia was 13.45 billion US dollars, up 33.2% year on year. The top three import source countries are Türkiye (US $2.37 billion), Russia (US $1.83 billion) and China (US $1.12 billion). The most imported products of Georgia are automobiles ($1.61 billion), oil ($1.33 billion), copper ore and its concentrate ($780 million).
