Report on the Trade Situation between China and Romania from January to March 2023

According to Chinese statistics, from January to March 2023, the trade volume between China and Romania reached 2.56 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 4.7%, making Romania China's 66th trading partner. Among them, China's exports to Romania reached 1.88 billion US dollars, an increase of 11.2% year-on-year. Romania is the 54th export destination country in China, mainly exporting goods such as electronics, machinery, optical equipment, vehicles and parts, plastics and their products; China imported 680 million US dollars from Romania, a year-on-year decrease of 9.9%. Romania is the 69th import source country in China, mainly importing electronic appliances, machinery, optical equipment, vehicles and their parts, clothing, etc.

According to statistics from Romania, from January to March 2023, the trade volume between Romania and China reached 18.9 US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 22%. China is Romania's sixth largest trading partner and the largest trading partner outside of Europe. Luo Zihua imported 1.64 billion US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 22.3%. China is the third largest source of imports for Luo, mainly importing goods such as electronic appliances, machinery, optical equipment, furniture and bedding, plastics and their products. Luo's exports to China reached 250 million US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 19.4%. China is the 19th destination country for Luo's exports, mainly including wood and wood products, machinery, electronic appliances, mineral fuels, mineral sand, etc.
