Russian Foreign Ministry and Six Countries Study and Formulate Visa Facilitation Agreement

Deputy Foreign Minister Ivanov of Russia stated that Russia is studying and formulating a draft intergovernmental agreement on visa facilitation with six countries, including India, Angola, Vietnam, Indonesia, Syria, and the Philippines. According to the agreement, Russian citizens can enjoy convenient visa policies when visiting the above-mentioned countries, such as obtaining visas upon arrival in Indonesia, and visiting India with electronic visas. Previously, Iraq stated that the Russian Foreign Ministry planned to sign visa free agreements with 11 countries, including Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, the Bahamas, Barbados, Haiti, Zambia, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mexico, and Trinidad and Tobago.
