According to Thai media reports on April 26th, recently, Vice Chairman of the Thai Automobile Industry Organization, Surapang, revealed that in March 2023, Thailand exported 98381 vehicles, an increase of 4.84% compared to the same period last year; The export volume was 84.054 billion Thai baht, an increase of 4.89% compared to the same period last year. The total number of automobile exports in the first quarter reached 273692, an increase of 12.57% compared to the first quarter of the previous year. It is understood that in March this year, Thailand's automobile production was 179848 units, an increase of 4.16%; The total production of Thai cars in the first quarter was 507787 units, an increase of 5.77% compared to the first quarter of the previous year. In March, car sales reached 79943 units, a decrease of 8.37%. The total sales in the first quarter of this year reached 217073 units, a decrease of 6.11% compared to the first quarter of the previous year. It is expected that the annual production of Thai cars will reach the target of 1.95 million units, and the export target is expected to reach 1.05 million units.
