On the morning of April 19th, a freight train carrying 25 refrigerated containers departed from Matapu Port in Thailand, traveling 3453 kilometers and taking 5 days to arrive in Guangzhou.

This train is part of the China Laos Thailand international freight project, which is jointly carried out by Pan Asian Silk Road Company, China Railway Express Company, China Laos Railway Company, Thailand Railway Bureau, Thailand PTT Company and other companies. The person in charge of PTT's logistics company stated that railway transportation is the best choice for Thai farmers. Compared to road transportation, it is faster and safer, and also helps to reduce carbon emissions. The Matapu Port Kunming line will take 3-4 days, the Matapu Chongqing line will take 4-5 days, and the Matapu Guangzhou line will take 5-6 days.
