President Marcos said on February 17 that the agreement signed on his foreign trip had begun to be implemented. According to the Presidential Communications Office, since Marcos took office as president, his foreign trip has generated 166 programs worth 62.926 billion US dollars (3.48 trillion pesos), including: Indonesia, 8.48 billion US dollars; Singapore, US $6.54 billion; US $3.847 billion; Thailand, US $4.62 billion; Belgium, US $2.2 billion; China, US $24.239 billion; Japan, US $13 billion. Among the total commitments mentioned above, the program with a value of 4.349 billion US dollars (239 billion pesos) has entered the implementation stage, and the program with a value of 28.863 billion US dollars (1.5 trillion pesos) has been confirmed and entered the planning stage.
