Yes

The rule of thumb is that you should always wear a hard hat, if there is any possibility of something falling onto your head, or of you hitting your head.

That pretty much means that we put on our hard hats when we get out of the van and take it off when getting back in the van

Safety rules for working at heights

(1) Safety helmets must be worn when entering the job site.

(6) The materials used for operation should be kept in a firm and safe place, and the tools used for operation should be placed in the tool bag carried with you. It is strictly forbidden to throw materials and tools at each other, and it is strictly forbidden to throw anything down.

(7) Those suffering from high blood pressure, low blood pressure, heart disease, anemia, epilepsy and other diseases are not allowed to work at heights.

(8) If the operator feels unwell, he should stop the operation immediately, and it is strictly forbidden to go to work with a disease.

(9) It is strictly forbidden to work after drinking.
