Russian Prime Minister Mishuskyin Promotes Modernization of Aircraft Manufacturing

Russian Prime Minister Mishuskyin held a government meeting to request relevant departments to immediately carry out the modernization and transformation of aircraft manufacturing, and stated that the Russian government will allocate 5 billion rubles (approximately US $70 million) for this purpose in 2023, and may allocate 376 billion rubles (approximately US $5 billion) in the next 14 years. The relevant funds can assist aviation enterprises in repaying nearly half of their bank loans and interests, improving their production capacity, and establishing a maintenance service system. Mi said that airlines should not encounter difficulties when using Russian made aircraft, and should establish a spare parts warehouse and design a detailed logistics plan.
