Single girder cranes should choose the right track according to the wheels

Generally, a 3-ton single-girder crane can use 18, 22, or 24 rails, a 5-ton single-beam crane uses 22 or 24 rails more, and a 10-ton single-girder crane uses 24 or 38 rails. What size rails and cranes are used The span of the crane is also related to a certain extent. As the span is larger, the weight of the crane itself will increase. The 20-ton single-beam crane uses 38 or 43 rails.

Cranes do not have a larger track, the better. The size of the grúa de la pista used has a certain relationship with the wheels used, because if the wheel treads are relatively narrow, but a larger track is used, it may be very easy to gnaw the track.

Crane track installation requirements:

Before crane track installation, check the rails, bolts, splints, etc., and replace them immediately if they are cracked, corroded or out of specification. For rail surfaces and sides that are allowed to be repaired, rails whose wear defects should not exceed 3mm should be used after repairing.

The crane track shim should be in close contact with the track and the main beam of the crane. Each level of shim should not exceed 20 pieces, the length is greater than 100mm, and the width is 10-20mm wider than the bottom of the track. The distance between the two sets of shim blocks should not be greater than 200mm; The main beam is firmly welded, the actual contact area between the pad iron and the track section is not less than 60% of the nominal contact area, and the local gap is not more than 1mm.

The rail joint can be made into a direct head or an oblique joint with an angle of 45°. The oblique joint can make the wheel transition smoothly at the joint, and the gap of the joint is generally 1~2mm. When the temperature during construction or installation in cold areas in winter is lower than that used throughout the year, and the difference is more than 20°C, the temperature gap should be considered, generally 4-6mm. The joints of the two rails at the joint should be staggered by more than 500mm.

A stop baffle is installed at the end of the track to prevent the crane from derailing from both ends. The deviation between the actual centerline of the track and the geometric centerline of the track should not be greater than 3mm. The allowable deviation of the gantry crane gauge is ±5mm; the longitudinal inclination of the track is 1/1500; the allowable deviation of the relative elevation of the two tracks is 10mm.
