Type of crane that can be installed in steel structure plant

The two ends of the bridge crane are located on tall concrete columns or metal supports, which are shaped like bridges. If the plant cannot be installed with a bridge crane, consider installing a gantry crane.

Cantilever cranes are hoisting machinery for small-scale operations. They are suitable for lifting heavy objects in fixed working areas. The lifting tonnage is generally small.

Common problems of installing crane in steel structure workshop

Allowable deviation of crane beam installation in steel structure workshop (mm):

  • Verticality of the beam in the middle of the span: h/500;
  • Lateral bending vector height: l/1500 and should not be greater than 10.0;
  • Vertical arch vector height: 10.0

Center displacement of supports at both ends:

  1.  When installed on a steel column, the offset to the center of the corbel: 5.0;
  2.  When installed on a concrete column, the offset of the positioning axis: 5.0;

Offset between the center of the crane beam support stiffener plate and the column pressure stiffener plate: t/2;

Bridge cranes are more commonly used in steel structure workshops. Users can also choose other types of cranes according to their own conditions, or use a combination of multiple types of cranes. Improve the production efficiency of enterprises.
