How to prevent the machine from overturning during hoisting?

In my daily life, the news of crane safety incidents is heard all over the world. The outdoor cranes are generally used for overload lifting and falling, and the driving wheel derails and falls. The outdoor cranes are generally overturned. Today, I will explain to you the methods to avoid overturning of gantry crane, so as to facilitate the majority of customers to check the causes and effectively protect them.

• (1) The road at the hoisting site must be flat and solid, and the backfill and soft soil layer shall be treated. If the soil is soft, the road shall be paved separately. The crane shall not be stopped on the slope for work, and it is not allowed to have one high and one low on both sides of the crane.
• (3) Oblique lifting is prohibited. Inclined hoisting will cause overload and wire rope out of the groove, and even break the rope and overturn. Oblique lifting will also cause the weight to swing when it is off the ground, which may hurt people or other objects.
• (4) The slings for binding components shall be calculated. All lifting tools shall be inspected regularly to identify the damaged ones. The binding method shall be correct and firm, so as to prevent the slings from breaking or slipping off the components during hoisting, resulting in weight loss and overturning of the crane.
• (6) It is forbidden to carry out hoisting operation under the condition of force 6 wind.
• (7) The commander shall use the unified command signal, which shall be clear and accurate. The crane driver shall obey the command.

What is the anti overturning safety hook of bridge and gantry crane

Because the gantry crane works in an outdoor environment and the crane operates on the steel rail, the general working wind pressure is 150 ~ 250pa (equivalent to grade 5 ~ 6 wind), and the maximum wind pressure in non working state is 800pa (equivalent to grade 10 wind). In order to ensure the safety of the equipment, the gantry crane shall be equipped with rail clamp, anchor device or other anti wind and anti-skid devices (such as anti overturning safety hook) in non working state.

What are the methods to prevent the gantry crane from overturning?

• 1. The crane must travel in a flat, solid and reliable way, and the parking place must be flat.
• 2. Slings and rings for binding components shall be calculated, and the lifting tools used shall be overhauled, inspected regularly, and the damaged ones shall be exchanged. The binding method shall be accurate and reliable to prevent hoisting
• 3. Vertical and large components must be identified and bound firmly. Components with unknown weight and loose binding shall not be lifted to prevent breaking of crane boom;
• 4. When lifting components, the sling shall be kept vertical and shall not be towed obliquely beyond the slewing radius of the crane, so as to avoid overload and wire rope slipping or breaking the rope, resulting in instability of the crane. When lifting heavy components, traction rope shall be set.
• 5. The crane shall avoid running at full load as far as possible
• 6. In the process of hoisting, if the operation is interrupted due to power failure or mechanical failure, measures must be taken to deal with it, and the long lifting of components shall not be suspended

It is the duty and obligation of the operators of an enterprise to accurately use the gantry crane in accordance with the operating procedures.
