The Dutch crane market fell to X dollars in 2020, about the same as the previous year. Overall, consumption has grown significantly. The most significant growth rate occurred in 2008, when the market value increased by X% year-on-year. As a result, spending reached the highest level of X dollars. From 2009 to 2020, the market growth rate remained at a low level.

In value terms, crane production in 2020 dropped significantly to $2020 (estimated at export prices). Overall, however, production continued to show a clear downward trend. Dutch crane export scale

In 2020, cranes and mobile cranes purchased abroad increased by X% to X units, increasing for the second consecutive year after declining for three consecutive years. During the period under review, imports increased slightly. The most significant growth rate occurred in 2014, with an X% year-over-year increase. Imports peaked at X units in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2020, imports have remained low. In 2020, crane imports expanded significantly to $X in value terms. Overall, imports rose slightly. In 2014, the growth rate was the fastest, with an increase of X% year-on-year. As a result, imports peaked at X dollars. Import growth failed to regain momentum between 2015 and 2020.

Germany (X units), Nigeria (X units) and Italy (X units) are the main suppliers of crane imports to the Netherlands, accounting for X% of total imports.

From 2007 to 2020, among the major suppliers, Nigeria recorded the most significant growth in purchases (+X% per annum), while the other leaders saw more modest growth in imports. Germany ($X) is the largest crane supplier to the Netherlands by value, accounting for X% of total imports. In second place is Nigeria ($X) with X% of total imports. It is followed by Italy with an X% share.
