Operating Rules and Regulations of Overhead Grab Crane

In order to ensure the safe use of the bridge crane in the workshop and avoid safety accidents, the enterprise must formulate the safety operation rules and regulations of the grab bridge crane, and strengthen the safety awareness of the staff.

1. Regulations for use

(1) Grab machinery with a driver's cab must be driven by a dedicated person and be on duty with a certificate. Operation by non-drivers is strictly prohibited.

(2) Grabs are prohibited from being used in any of the following situations.

1. The wire rope reaches the scrap standard .

2. Grabs, pulleys and reels reach the scrap standard.

3. The braking torque of the brake cannot hold the rated load.

4. The limit switch is out of order.

5. The main stressed parts have cracks and open welding.

6. The elastic deformation or permanent deformation of the main beam exceeds the repair limit.

7. Wheel cracks, chipping, severe gnawing or "three legs".

8. The electrical zero protection link is out of function or the insulation does not reach the specified value.

9. The temperature rise of the motor exceeds the specified value.

10. One phase of rotor and resistor is open circuit.

11. There are people in the car.

12. After new installation, modification, and overhaul, it has not been accepted as qualified.

13. The track beam is loose, broken, objects are broken, and the terminal gear fails.

(3) The grab crane driver is not allowed to:

1. Drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited before work.

2. It is not allowed to bring irrelevant persons on the bus.

3. Do not smoke, eat, talk with others, or call or call mobile phones during operation.

2. Operating Regulations of General Overhead Grab Crane

1. Before driving, check: whether the mechanical, electrical, and safety devices are in good condition; whether there are any bumps, jams, or hangs on the car; confirm that everything is normal, and then send the power to test the car after the bell alarms. When the inspection found that there is the second paragraph of Chapter 1, stop immediately.

2. Concentration must be done during operation.

3. Always achieve steady rise, steady movement, and steady fall during operation. When approaching a neighboring car or a person, you must ring the bell in time to warn you.

4. Insist on not passing people or vehicles when grabbing and transporting items;

5. During operation, anyone who issues a stop signal should stop immediately.

6. During the hoisting process, it is not allowed to operate two mechanisms at the same time (that is, the large cart, the trolley, and the grasping lift cannot operate at the same time).

7. Under normal circumstances, large vehicles or small vehicles are not allowed to suddenly accelerate, stop or run in reverse, and are not allowed to run in the highest gear.

8. When getting on and off the vehicle, you must pass through the ladder platform. It is not allowed to climb from one car to another. It is not allowed to walk along the track.

9. No live animals are allowed to be stacked on the vehicle, and tools should be fixed.

10. When there are more than two cranes on the same span track, they are not allowed to collide with each other.

11. When the grab is running without load, it should be raised to a height of more than 2 meters.

12. When dealing with faults or leaving the car, the controller must be placed in the "0" position and the power supply must be cut off. Don't leave the car with hanging heavy objects. Park the trolley at one end of the cab at the end of get off work, and place the grab flat on the coal pile.

13. Lifting steel wire ropes and cables should be correctly wound on the reel.

14. When the grab is working, in order to prevent the items from falling out, the grab should be closed tightly and it is not allowed to shake.

15. Before moving the cart, the trolley and grab must be moved to the middle of the traveling beam to keep the traveling truck moving stably, and the grabbing bucket is not allowed to move the cart after grabbing heavy objects.

3. The shift inspection must be carried out for the shift of the driver of the grab bridge crane , and the inspection and operation of each shift must be recorded in detail. Class inspection content includes:

1. The controller contacts should be in good contact to ensure normal speed regulation.

2. Each brake must be flexible and reliable (especially the hoisting mechanism).

3. The coupling must not be loosened.

4. Buffers for large and small cars are complete and reliable.

5. The collector support and flexible cords are not allowed to hang, jam, touch, or fall off.

6. Each safety switch must be complete, flexible and reliable.

7. No obstacles are allowed on the tracks of large and small cars.

8. Motor carbon brushes and slip rings must be smooth, in good contact, and normal speed regulation.

9. The tightening and winding of the wire rope must be correct, and the damage shall not exceed the scrap standard.

10. The hook and pulley rotate flexibly, and no cracks or ruptures are allowed. The anti-loosening nut must be reliable.

11. Run dry run test run, and work only if you are sure that it is safe and reliable.

12. The rails are tight, and the joints are tight and straight.

All grab bridge cranes and their users and managers in the workshop shall abide by this system and jointly maintain the safe operation and production of the cranes.
