Bridge cranes used in metallurgical applications are called double-beam metallurgical bridge cranes , which are more dangerous when using metallurgical cranes to lift molten steel. In this kind of operation, accidents such as falling are very harmful. Therefore, it is more important to avoid similar accidents and ensure the safe operation of overhead cranes. Therefore, the crane driver must strictly master the following operating rules and essentials:

1.  To be familiar with the whole process of lifting technology, master the action requirements of each link in the whole process and the connection relationship with each other, so as to ensure the smooth and smooth work of lifting dangerous objects.
2.  When the molten steel is hoisted, the molten steel should not be filled too full to prevent the molten steel from spilling and hurting people when the large and small cars start or brake; Install safety clips or anti-decoupling devices on the hook group.
3.  When lifting molten steel, the hook group used for lifting molten steel must have heat insulation to prevent the hot molten steel from directly baking the hook group. Generally, partitions or long-neck hooks are used, and this type of hook group is used. Not only can the service life of the hook group be prolonged, but also the dangerous accidents of the ladle falling due to mechanical damage can be reduced.
4.  Before hoisting molten steel, a test hoist must be carried out first. Slowly raise the ladle containing molten steel to a height of 200 mm above the ground, and then lower the brake to test the reliability of the lifting brake. If it does not exceed the allowable sliding distance (generally not more than 100 mm), it can be formally Carry out lifting.
5.  When hoisting a ladle containing molten steel, it is required to start, run and brake smoothly, and it is strictly prohibited to pass over the head to prevent the molten steel from splashing and hurting people due to the swing of the ladle.
6.  It is strictly forbidden to start other mechanisms such as large carts or small carts at the same time when the lifting mechanism is activated to raise or lower the ladle, so as to prevent the driver's energy from being unable to concentrate on manipulating the lifting mechanism, which may cause accidents due to misoperation.
