Austria, Italy and Spain are Portugal's largest suppliers of transport and overhead cranes by value, accounting for 73% of total imports. This is followed by Germany, Belgium, China and the Netherlands, which together account for 26%.
In value terms, Spain remains the main foreign market for Portuguese transport and overhead crane exports, accounting for 47% of total exports. In second place is Angola, with 18% of total exports. It is followed by France with an 18% share.
In 2021, the average export price of transport cranes and overhead cranes is $1,762 per unit, down -6% from the previous year.
