Sinking of main girder of single girder crane

There are usually two reasons for the main girder sinking: overloading or unqualified design of the main girder of a single girder crane.

When checking the cause of the sinking, first the crane is equipped with an overload limiter, that is, if the crane exceeds 10 tons, it will automatically stop running, so it can be judged that there is no overload. Secondly, after inspecting the main beam of the single-beam crane, it was found that the thickness of the steel used was unqualified. In addition, the main beam is composed of multiple steel plates, and some welds have arc craters and crack defects.

In order to correct the deformation of the main beam and the main beam, the method of thermoplastic deformation around the main beam and the lower web is adopted. Then the welds are processed, reinforced and repaired. Then strengthen the side slabs of the original main beam.

There are many problems with the sinking of the main girder of a single-beam crane, and users are also reminded to choose full-plate girder when purchasing. The whole slab beam is pre-set with 0.4% camber, and plasma CNC cutting is performed. Compared with ordinary multi-plate welded main beams, it has the advantages of high strength, durability, and no deformation.
