Single-girder crane lifting weight limiter is an overload protection device for cranes. It can prevent the crane from overloading and causing damage to the mechanism, wire rope breakage, and brake failure, which will cause the main beam of the crane to deflection and the upper cover of the main beam. Plastic deformation or cracks appear on the plates and webs, causing serious equipment or personal injury accidents.
When the single-beam crane lifts an item, the sensor deforms, converts the load weight into an electrical signal, and after calculation, it is reduced to indicate the value of the load. When the load exceeds 95% of the rated lifting capacity, the lifting weight limiter will give a sound or light alarm to remind the driver that the crane is close to full load; when the load reaches between 100% and 110% of the rated lifting capacity, the lifting weight limiter will work and The lifting power source is automatically cut off for the purpose of protection.
The lifting weight limiter can make the weight of the single beam crane not exceed the specified value. According to the structure, it can be divided into two types: mechanical type and electrical type. Mechanical type means that the protection function is realized through the conversion of mechanical energy and the cooperation of the switch, the spring-lever principle or the hydraulic system is used to detect the load, and the product is actuated by the travel switch (control valve). Electrical type refers to the realization of protection functions through the conversion between mechanical energy and electrical energy. That is, the detected load and other mechanical quantities are converted into corresponding electrical signals, which are amplified, compared, calculated, and processed. The electrical structure is simple and the detection accuracy is high, and it is widely used in hoisting machinery.
