What are the components of a bridge crane

The bridge crane is composed of a bridge frame, a trolley equipped with a lifting mechanism, a trolley running mechanism and a control room.

1. The bridge frame is the basic component of the bridge crane, which consists of main girder, end girder and other parts. That is, a big car.

The main girder spans above the workshop, and its two ends are connected with end girders. The outside of the main girder is equipped with a walking platform and safety railings.

The bridge frame is equipped with a cart moving mechanism, an electrical box, a lifting mechanism, a trolley running track and an auxiliary wire rack.

One end of the bridge is equipped with a cab. The other end is equipped with the main slide wire leading in the power supply.

2. The traveling mechanism of the cart is composed of several parts such as driving motor, brake, transmission shaft, reducer and wheels.

3. The trolley frame is welded by steel plate, on which the trolley moving mechanism, lifting mechanism, railing and lifting limit switch are installed.

3.1 The trolley can move left and right along the track on the main girder of the bridge frame. Buffers and limit switches are installed at both ends of the moving direction of the trolley.

3.2 The moving mechanism of the trolley is composed of a motor, a reducer, a reel, and a brake. After deceleration, the motor drives the driving wheel to make the trolley move.

3.3 The lifting mechanism is composed of a motor, a reducer, a drum, a brake, etc. The lifting motor is connected to the reducer through a brake wheel and a coupling, and the output shaft of the reducer is connected to the lifting drum.

4. The control room is the pod for operating the crane, also known as the cab. In the control room, there are large and small car moving mechanism control devices, lifting mechanism control devices and crane protection devices. The control room is generally fixed at one end of the main beam, and a few are installed under the trolley and move with the trolley. There is a hatch leading to the walking platform above the control room, which is used for personnel to go up and down when overhauling the machinery and electrical equipment of the cart and trolley.
