What if there is something wrong with the drawings designed for customers? The answer is to design the correct drawings before production in the factory.
Recently, we received an order from an old customer in Pakistan. The customer needs to customize a CD hoist with a lifting weight of 5 tons and a lifting height of 70 meters. Since 5t-70m is a non-standard CD hoist product, the technicians modified the rope out mode according to the 10t drawing when making the design drawing, and the rope out mode is 4 / 1. The lifting speed is determined according to the specification of 5t hoist, and the speed is 8m / min. After in-depth communication with the customer, the required parameters were reconfirmed. The correct drawing confirmed by the technology and the factory should be that the rope output rate is 2 / 1 and the speed is 7m / min
Right drawing for the 5 ton CD hoist
Wrong drawing for the 5 ton CD hoist
Installation dimension of I-beam of hoist. After placing an order, the customer gave a size to confirm whether our hoist can be applied to the I-beam. The size information of I-beam fed back by the customer is I-beam 457 * 178 * 15mm. After receiving the customer's I-beam model feedback, confirm with our technology and procurement whether it is applicable. The concept of whether the hoist can be installed on the I-beam is different from whether the hoist can be used on the I-beam. If the customer wants to confirm whether the hoist can be used on this I-beam, he needs to know the hoist lifting point and running length. After that, confirm from the customer's email that the customer already has this I-beam model. Just confirm that our hoist can be installed on the I-beam model, without considering the complex problems such as whether the size of the beam can bear the weight of the hoist. When the customer has confirmed the I-beam model, we only need to know the width of the customer's salary steel to ensure that our hoist small wheel can be stuck, and there is no need to confirm the lifting point and running length with the customer.
Payment method and terms: the customer asked to go CAD in the early stage because Pakistan could not pay TT. Because the CAD payment method is unfavorable to our company, we clearly inform the customer that we do not accept CAD and suggest the customer to go to TT. After the payment method is determined, the customer wants to pay after the goods are produced and before delivery. Communicate the payment terms with the customer again. Because it is an old customer, it is finally agreed that the customer should pay TT 30% deposit first and TT 70% before delivery. Finally, the customer made 100% advance payment through the ÉMIRATS arabes unis sister company TT 100%.
