Repair methods for common electrical faults of bridge cranes

1. Turn on the power switch, the power fuse fuse blows

Cause of failure: grounding or short-circuit phenomenon.

Remedy: Check the power circuit, find out the grounding or short-circuit point and eliminate it.

2. Failure of the main power supply system

Failure reason: power supply sliding contact line failure.

Remedy: such as the power failure caused by the sliding contact line, the obvious deformation of the conduit makes the receiver unable to move, the side of the brush is scratched and the surface has granular pits, the conduit shakes too much during work, the brush wears out too fast, and the appliance slides There are loud noises and scratches on the shell. The reason is often the deformation caused by the improper installation of the guide rail, the jam phenomenon caused by the excessively high ambient temperature and thermal expansion, the incorrect installation of the receiver and the positioning deviation.

3. The main contactor does not pull in

The cause of the failure: the emergency switch is not closed, the door safety position switch is not closed, the controller has not returned to the zero position, the contactor coil is open or there is no operating power supply.

Remedy: Check and close the emergency switch or the door position switch, check the controller to make it in the zero position, replace the contactor coil, and restore the power supply if there is no operating power supply.

4. After the main contactor is closed, the overcurrent relay will act and the contactor will be released

The cause of the fault: the controller circuit is grounded.

Remedy: Disconnect the connection between the protection panel and the controller, and then connect it gradually. Close the contactor for each connection. After detecting the wire according to the overcurrent relay action, remove the ground fault.

5. Operate the controller, the motor does not rotate

The cause of the fault: the lack of phase of the power supply, the motor makes a buzzing sound, the rotor circuit is disconnected, and the dynamic and static contacts of the controller are not closed.

Remedy: Find and restore the three-phase power supply, check the connection of the rotor circuit, and adjust the dynamic and static contacts of the controller to make good contact.

6. After the controller is closed, the overcurrent relay will act and the contactor will release

The cause of the fault: the setting value of the overcurrent relay is too small, and the stator circuit is grounded.

Remedy: readjust the setting value of the overcurrent relay, check with a megohmmeter and eliminate the ground fault.

7. The operation controller motor can only move in one direction

The cause of the fault: The stator circuit dynamic and static contacts in the controller are not closed, and the terminal limit is faulty.

Remedy: Check the controller contacts, make them in good contact, and deal with or replace the limit switch.

8. The motor load capacity is low and the speed slows down

The cause of the fault: the brake is not completely released, and the starting resistance in the rotor circuit is completely cut off.

Remedy: adjust the brake to make it work normally, check and adjust the controller contacts or resistors and peripheral circuits to eliminate the fault.

9. Damage to the main motor or other motors

Cause of failure: The quality of electronic components in the electrical system is unqualified, resulting in poor mechanical reliability, heating of the coil, poor pull-in and coil burnout; poor quality and damage to various protection relays, sparking and easy melting, three-phase contact Uneven point spring pressure and rupture of the shell, etc.

Remedy: replace unqualified electrical components.

10. The limit device fails

The cause of the fault: the limit switch is open or the line is connected incorrectly.

Remedy: Repair or replace the limit switch and connect it correctly.
