The difference between aerial crane and ground crane

In the previous article, we have introduced to you that the operation methods of cranes are divided into ground operation and air operation. However, some customers do not know much about these two operation methods of cranes, and do not know what air operation cranes and ground operation cranes are. , Xiaobian will give you a brief introduction today.

The aerial operation of the crane, as the name suggests, is that the crane is operated in the air, that is, in the cab. Because the operating room of the crane is generally designed under one end of the crane beam, and the crane is installed in the air, the operation in the cab is referred to as aerial operation.

The ground operation of the crane, as the name implies, is that the crane is operated on the ground. The ground operation methods currently used are divided into two types: wired and wireless.

Wired ground operation means that the operator controls the crane on the ground by connecting the control line and the operating handle of the crane. The operator needs to follow the crane to walk around, which is inconvenient and dangerous. The wireless ground operation mode is that the operator controls the crane on the ground through the remote control, and does not need to follow the crane at all times to ensure the operator's own safety.

Double girder cranes generally adopt the operating mode of the driver's cab . Because of its working time and work intensity, the use of the driver's cab can reduce the work intensity of the operator and ensure more work safety. Small-tonnage double-beam cranes can also be operated by ground remote control.

Single-girder cranes generally adopt ground remote control operation, which is not only convenient to operate, but also effectively guarantees the safety of operators, and is currently widely used.
