The electric hoist fire limiter is installed on the hoisting motor base and used in conjunction with the electric hoist's own limit rod, so as to achieve the purpose of ascending and descending bidirectional limit.
The fire limit device is composed of a fire limiter and a guide rod. The fire limiter is installed on the terminal box of the hoisting motor and is used for the upper and lower limit protection of the hoisting mechanism.
The wire rope guide card board flips the guide rod and then drives the fire limit switch to cut off the power supply of the hoisting motor.

The fire limiter is actually a kind of travel switch, and the fire is to cut off the power supply.
The limit switch only controls the coil of the contactor, if the contactor itself is a problem. The limit switch is no longer protective. The fire limiter is a mechanical protection, if the wiring is correct. It can protect. The fire stopper is an insurance mechanism that restricts the wire rope to only be raised or lowered within a certain range. When the wire rope guide contacts the fire stopper, the electric hoist will automatically stop.
The adjustment of the fire limiter is realized by adjusting the two strikers on the limit rod.
The adjustment method is: loosen the screws on the striker, and place the striker on both sides of the rope guide card board, and the card board can freely push the striker to move. Start the motor to start lifting, and the pallet pushes the upper limit bumper to move. When the upper edge of the hook pulley shell is 150mm～50mm from the lower edge of the drum shell, stop rising, click the down button, and when the rope guide moves back about 10mm , Stop, move the upper limit striker close to the card board, and tighten the screws.
The adjustment of the lower limit position is the same as above, but in the opposite direction, but it must be ensured that when the hook is at the lowest position, there are more than 3 loops of wire rope on the drum.
After adjustment, you can test hang several times without load to verify whether the upper and lower limit positions meet the requirements.
