The copper core of the qualified copper wire should be purple-red, shiny and soft. However, the counterfeit and inferior copper core wire is purple-black, light yellow or white, with many impurities, poor mechanical strength, poor resistance, and the wire will break with a little force, and the wire often breaks. When viewing, just peel off 2 cm from one end of the wire, and then rub a piece of white paper on the copper core. If there are black substances on the white paper, it means that there are more impurities in the copper core. In addition, the insulation layer of counterfeit and shoddy wires seems to be very thick. In fact, most of them are made of recyclable plastic. Over time, the insulating layer will age and leak electricity.
