How to Install Electric Chain Hoist Motor
The motor is the heart of the electric chain hoist, which uses electric energy to rotate to power the electric chain hoist, so as to achieve the lifting and handling of goods. After the electric chain hoist is used for a period of time, the electric hoist parts may need to be replaced and repaired due to the obsolescence standard, etc. The same is true for the motor, so how to install the electric chain hoist motor?
- Before unpacking, check whether the motor is intact and has no signs of damp erosion.
- After removing the packing box, remove the dirt and anti-rust materials on the surface of the motor. Pay attention to check whether the nameplate and data of the motor meet the relevant requirements of the electric chain hoist motor.
- Carefully check whether the motor is deformed or damaged during storage and transportation, and whether the fasteners are loose or fall off. The brake motor with clutch turns the clutch handle to disengage the brake. Turn the motor shaft by hand to see if there is any frictional mechanical noise, then release the handle to restore the brake. The mechanical inspection of a brake motor without a clutch can only be energized and inspected after the normal insulation resistance is tested.
- Check the insulation resistance of the motor. Use a 500M meter to measure the insulation resistance of the motor windings to the casing and between the windings. Under normal conditions, it should not be less than 0.5M. Otherwise, the stator windings should be dried, and the temperature of the drying treatment should not exceed 120°C
- Equipped with the required rotating parts, the motor is installed, and it should be properly and firmly grounded.
- According to the connection method specified on the nameplate, changing the phase sequence of the power supply can change the direction of the motor.
- After the motor has been inspected and has been energized and run for a period of time without load, cut off the power to check whether the mechanical connections are loose, whether the bearings are overheated, and any abnormal phenomena and noises. Whether the brake can be completely disengaged, otherwise, make corresponding measures. Adjustment and repair.
- When the brake is well under no-load operation, the brake surface should be run-in, that is, repeated starting and braking more than 100 times to match the surface of the brake ring.
- Motors that have been out of service for a long period of time should be inspected according to the above methods.
The above is the method of installing the electric chain hoist motor, I hope it will be helpful to you.
