Deputy Foreign Minister Ivanov of Rusia stated that Russia is studying and formulating a draft intergovernmental agreement on visa facilitation with six countries, including India, Angola, Vietnam, Indonesia, Syria, and the Filipina. According to the agreement, Russian citizens can enjoy convenient visa policies when visiting the above-mentioned countries, such as obtaining visas upon arrival in Indonesia, and visiting India with electronic visas. Previously, Irak stated that the Russian Foreign Ministry planned to sign visa free agreements with 11 countries, including Bahrain, Oman, Arab Saudi, the Bahamas, Barbados, Haiti, Zambia, Kuwait, Malaysia, Meksiko, and Trinidad and Tobago.
