The Russian government plans to develop a roadmap for the development of LNG equipment to increase the share of domestic technology

After holding a LNG production and development conference, the Russian government announced that the Russian Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Industry and Trade will jointly formulate a roadmap for the development of LNG equipment in Rusia, requiring a domestic technology share of 80%. In addition, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Nowak instructed the establishment of a working group to assess the level of import substitution in Russia's LNG production field. Previously, Nuo has stated that Russia is developing domestic large-tonnage LNG liquefaction technology with a designed annual capacity of 5-6 million tons. The annual production capacity of the medium-sized LNG liquefaction technology Arctic Cascade that has been put into production can increase from 1 million tons to 2-3 million tons.
