On April 27th, the National News reported that the United Arab Emirates and Cambodia have finalized the terms of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (Cepa). Dr. Thani, Minister of State for Foreign Trade of the United Arab Emirates, and Pan Sorasak, Minister of Commerce of Cambodia, signed a joint statement confirming the conclusion of the negotiations.
The UAE Ministry of Economy stated that Cepa with Cambodia will promote bilateral trade growth and diversification by significantly eliminating tariffs and reducing non-tariff trade barriers.
