How to divide the crane work level

Crane work is to show the level of the crane heavy degree of operating parameters that indicate the crane work in terms of time and the degree of heavy loaded parameters, hook type is divided into: A1-A3 (light level); A4-A5 (Intermediate); A6-A7 (heavy level) three levels and seven items.

The overall working level of the crane:

• Light (A1-A3): Rarely lift rated load, generally lift light load, mostly used for installation and maintenance of equipment in power stations or other workplaces, or workshops and warehouses where work is not commonly used.
• Intermediate (A4-A5): Sometimes the rated load is lifted, and the medium load is generally lifted. It is used in heavy-duty workshops and garages, such as general machining and general assembly workshops.
• Heavy (A6-A7): Normally, the rated load is lifted, and heavier loads are generally lifted. It is used in workshops and warehouses with heavy work, such as frequent lifting and carrying heavy items for a long time and metallurgical workshops.

The working level of a crane is determined by two abilities. One is the frequency of use of the crane, which is called the crane utilization level; the other is the size of the load that the crane bears, which is called the load state of the crane. The crane has a certain total number of working cycles during its useful life. The working cycle of a crane operation is the entire operation process from the preparation of lifting objects to the next lifting of objects. The total number of working cycles characterizes the utilization degree of the crane, and it is one of the basic parameters of crane grading. The total number of working cycles is the sum of all working cycles of the crane during the specified service life. When determining the appropriate service life, economic, technical, and environmental factors must be considered, as well as the effects of equipment aging.

Nowadays, the working level is also an important parameter of cranes. When ordering a crane, not only should the tonnage be satisfied, but also the usage of the crane and purchase suitable equipment.
