The parameters of the crane are data describing its performance and technical and economic indicators. It is an important basis for the design and selection of hoisting machinery. (1) Common main technical parameters
- Rated lifting weight: refers to the sum of the weights or materials that can be lifted by the crane together with the mass of the detachable spreaders. For cranes with variable amplitude, it refers to the maximum lifting capacity under the minimum amplitude.
- Effective lifting weight: refers to the net mass of heavy objects or materials that can be lifted by a crane.
- Total lifting weight: refers to the heavy objects or materials that can be lifted by the crane, together with the detachable spreaders and the spreaders or attachments fixed on the crane for a long time (including hooks, pulley blocks, hoisting wire ropes, The total mass of other lifting objects below the lifting trolley.
- Lifting height: refers to the vertical distance from the horizontal stopping surface or running track of the crane to the highest allowable position of the spreader.
- Crane working level .
The working level of the crane is the working characteristics considering the lifting weight and the utilization of time and the number of working cycles. It is divided according to the crane utilization level (the total number of working cycles during the entire design life) and the load status. The crane load status is divided into four levels according to the nominal load pedigree: light, medium, heavy, and special; the utilization level of the crane is divided into ten levels U0~U9. The working level of the crane, that is, the working level of the metal structure, is determined by the main hoisting mechanism, and is divided into levels A1 to A8.
(2) Main technical parameters of mobile crane
- Amplitude: When the crane is placed on a horizontal site, the horizontal distance from the vertical centerline of the unloaded spreader to the revolving centerline is called the amplitude.
- Lifting moment: refers to the product of the amplitude and the gravity of the lifting object corresponding to it.
- Lifting overturning moment: refers to the product of the weight of the lifted object and the distance from the overturning line.
- Lifting speed: refers to the vertical displacement speed of the rated load of the crane in a stable operation state.
- Luffing speed: refers to the average linear velocity of horizontal displacement from the maximum amplitude to the minimum amplitude when the minimum rated load is hung in the luffing plane under stable motion.
- Traveling speed: refers to the smooth running speed of the mobile crane in the state of road driving.
- Rotation speed: refers to the rotation speed of the crane around its center of rotation under stable motion.
(3) Main technical parameters of bridge crane and gantry crane
- Span : It refers to the horizontal distance between the axis of the track of the bridge type crane, which is called the span.
- Gauge: refers to the distance between the center lines of the hoisting trolley track.
- Base distance: Also known as wheelbase, it refers to the distance between the crane or trolley supporting center lines along the longitudinal movement direction.
(4) Main technical parameters of tower crane
Nominal lifting moment: The product of the gravity produced by the maximum amplitude and the corresponding rated lifting capacity at the standard boom length.
