Cause analysis and prevention of derailment of electric single-beam crane

For electric single-girder cranes , derailment is a serious problem. Derailment means that the single-girder crane gnaws on the rail and climbs the rail during operation, and then the wheels leave the track. In severe cases, it may cause the whole machine to fall. Through the investigation of past accidents by technicians, the derailed electric single-girder crane has the following common features:

1.  The width of the wheel tread of the cart is large, and the width of the top surface of the track is small;
2.  There is a phenomenon of rail gnawing in the operation of the cart;
3.  When the accident happened, the track had problems such as broken hook bolts and track displacement.

1.  The braking torque of the operating brake of the crane is inconsistent. The wheels on both sides of the cart are not synchronized, and the cart mechanism is skewed;
2.  The minimum wheel pressure of the cart wheels is too small;
3.  The width difference between the wheel tread and the top surface of the track is too large, resulting in a larger tilting angle of the cart, which increases the probability of wheel climbing.
4.  The self-made hook bolts for fixing the track are not strong enough
