Throughout the year, 12.69 million new jobs were created in urban areas, an increase of 830,000 over the previous year. The average urban surveyed unemployment rate in the whole year was 5.1%, down 0.5 percentage points from the average of the previous year.
In the whole year, the added value of industries above designated size increased by 9.6% over the previous year, with an average growth rate of 6.1% in the two years. In terms of three categories, the added value of the mining industry increased by 5.3%, the manufacturing industry increased by 9.8%, and the production and supply of electricity, heat, gas and water increased by 11.4%. The added value of high-tech manufacturing and equipment manufacturing increased by 18.2% and 12.9%, respectively, 8.6 and 3.3 percentage points faster than that of industries above designated size. In terms of products, the output of new energy vehicles, industrial robots, integrated circuits and microcomputer equipment increased by 145.6%, 44.9%, 33.3% and 22.3% respectively. In terms of economic types, the added value of state-controlled enterprises increased by 8.0%; joint-stock enterprises increased by 9.8%, foreign-invested enterprises, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan-invested enterprises increased by 8.9%; private enterprises increased by 10.2%. In December, the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 4.3% year-on-year and 0.42% month-on-month. The manufacturing purchasing managers' index was 50.3 percent, an increase of 0.2 percentage points from the previous month. In 2021, the national industrial capacity utilization rate will be 77.5%, an increase of 3.0 percentage points over the previous year.

In value terms, bridge crane imports contracted rapidly to $X in 2020. Overall, imports continue to show a sudden pullback. The growth rate was most significant in 2011, with an X% increase year-on-year. As a result, imports peaked at X dollars. Import growth remained low between 2012 and 2020.
In 2020, Germany (X units) was the largest supplier of overhead cranes in China, accounting for X% of total imports. In addition, overhead cranes imported from Germany were three times higher than the number recorded by the second largest supplier, the 米国 (X units). In third place is Denmark (X units) with an X% share.
From 2007 to 2020, the average annual growth rate of sales from Germany totaled -X%. The average annual growth rates of imports for the remaining suppliers are as follows: United States (+X% per year) and Denmark (-X% per year).
By value, China's largest suppliers of overhead cranes are Germany ($X), Finland ($X), and the Czech Republic ($X), which together account for X% of total imports. This was followed by South Africa, the United States, Italy and Denmark, which had the highest growth in import value among the major suppliers during the period under review, while the United States had the highest growth in import value.
