Thailand is committed to further developing its market in China through the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area

According to the Thailand Negotiation Office, the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area Meeting will be held in Thailand in April this year. This will be the first meeting on upgrading the free trade area after the China-ASEAN Summit last November. The two sides plan to complete the negotiations on the framework of the free trade area and related details by the end of 2024. The negotiations will cover digital economy, green economy, supply chain construction, competition, consumer protection, small, medium and micro enterprises and other issues.
