Deviation standard for crane trolley track installation

In the previous article, we introduced the installation standards for crane trolley rails. Those are only part of the crane rail installation standards. Today we introduce the crane trolley rail installation standards. The trolley track of the crane generally refers to the double-beam bridge crane or the double-beam gantry crane. Some of the installation standards are the same as those of the trolley . The general standards are as follows:

  1.  The relative elevation of the two tracks: deviation <10mm, measured with a level
  2.  Longitudinal inclination of track: 1/1500
  3.  The height deviation of track joints: ≤1mm, measured with steel straightedge and feeler gauge
  4.  Left and right misalignment at track joints: deviation ≤1mm, measured with steel ruler and feeler gauge
  5.  Staggered joints of two parallel rails: ≥500mm, measured with steel tape
  6.  Track span deviation: the limit deviation of the track span of the normal track box girder and the semi-off track box girder less than 50t: the end is ±2mm, the span, when S≤19.5m, it is +1~+5mm, when S> 19.5m, which is +1~+7mm. Other beams shall not exceed ±3mm. Measure with steel tape.
  7.  Track joint clearance: e≤2mm, measured with steel straightedge and feeler gauge, direct head or 45° diagonal joint
  8.  Torsion ≤1.5mm
  9.  Track bending deviation: ≤3mm
  10.  Wear of rail top and side surfaces (one side): ≤3mm
  11.  Rail length at the end: ≥1.5m Measured with a steel tape measure, with a stopper at the end
  12.  Small transverse cracks are produced in the track, which are connected with fishplates. Generally 4-6 bolts for fishplates; longitudinal cracks and oblique cracks are scrapped.
  13.  Each set of horns of the trolley track shall not exceed 2 pieces, the length shall not be less than 100mm, and the width shall be 10-20mm wider than the bottom of the rail. The distance between the two sets of horns shall not be less than 200mm, and the actual contact area between the horns and the bottom of the track shall not be less than the nominal contact area 60%, the local gap is not more than 1mm.

The straightness of the track can be checked by drawing a steel wire, that is, a 0.5mm steel wire is pulled on the car stop at both ends of the track, and then measured point by point with a plumb hammer, with an interval of about 2m.

The track elevation can be measured with a level gauge.

The span of the steel rail is checked with a steel tape measure. One end of the ruler is fastened with a clamping plate, and the other end is tied to a spring scale. The tensile force is 98N for the crane with a span of 10-19.5m, and 147N for the crane with a span of 22-31.5m. Measure once at an interval of 5m. , Make a punch in the middle of the rail before measurement, and the tension of the spring balance at each measurement point is the same.

To ensure that the track span is consistent with the crane span, when the track is installed, a special person must be assigned to accurately measure the distance between the two tracks with a steel pan ruler and a spring balance, and a tape measure cannot be used. In order to achieve the same installation height of the two tracks, the surface elevation of the concrete crane beam or steel beam must be measured with a level first. If the error is too large, please ask the civil construction unit to correct it. If the error is small, it can be adjusted with the pad when installing the track.
