Myanmar Crane Market Study 2022

Taiwan (China) (X units), ベトナム (X台）シンガポール (X units) are the main destinations for Myanmar crane exports. In addition, Taiwan (China) exports twice as many cranes as the second largest exporter, Vietnam.

From 2007 to 2020, among the major destination countries, the most significant growth rate in shipments was Taiwan (Mainland China), while exports from other leading countries showed a mixed trend. In value terms, Vietnam ($X) emerged as the main foreign market for Myanmar crane exports, accounting for X% of total exports. In second place is Singapore ($X) with X% of total exports.

From 2007 to 2020, the average annual growth rate of the value to Vietnam reached +X%. Exports to other major destinations recorded the following average annual export growth rates: Singapore (+X% per annum) and Taiwan (China) (X% per annum).

In value terms, Vietnam emerged as the main foreign market for Myanmar’s crane exports, accounting for 81% of total exports. In second place is Singapore with 11% of total exports.

The average export price for cranes in 2020 was $70,191 per unit, an increase of 123% from the previous year.

The average price of crane imports in 2020 was $3,188 per unit, an increase of 12% from the previous year.
