A large part of the inspection of the safety skills of hoisting machinery is carried out by the inspectors after seeing, listening, sniffing, asking, and touching. "Lifting Machinery Inspection Regulations" (2002) No. 296 of the lifting machinery inspection items accounted for more than 70% of the total items are sensory inspections. Through sensory seeing, listening, sniffing, asking, and touching all the visual diagnosis of the hoisting machinery, to obtain the required information and data.

Look: Based on the visual basis of the structural characteristics of the crane, investigate the main transmission parts, the main points of the load-bearing structure, and the source of the fault.

Listening: Through auditory analysis, whether the operating sound of each part of the lifting machinery equipment is normal or not, distinguish the abnormal sound from the location, understand the cause of the disease, and find out the source of the disease.

Smell: distinguish the on-site odor of the moving parts of the hoisting machinery through the sense of smell, and distinguish the position of overheating, wear, and overburning of parts.

Question: Ask the driver and related personnel about the faults, the process and types of faults that occur during the operation of the crane. Determine the status of crane safety skills.

Touch: After touching the operating parts of the crane by hand, the fault location and nature of the fault can be judged according to temperature changes and oscillation conditions.

Safety inspection of crane general parts

  1.  Hook .
    • Check whether the marking of the hook and the anti-dropping equipment meet the requirements, whether the hook has defects such as cracks, peeling, etc.; whether the hook section is worn, the increase in the opening degree, torsion deformation, and whether it is overrun; the hook neck and appearance No fatigue deformation, cracks, and related pin shaft and sleeve wear conditions.
  2.  Steel wire rope.
    • Check whether the wire rope standard, type and pulley drum match is suitable for the planning request. Whether the steel wire rope fixing equipment such as the pressure plate, rope clamp and block at the fixed end of the wire rope meets the requirements. Is the wire rope abrasion, broken wire, kinking, flattening, bending, broken strands, corrosion, etc. overrun?
  3.  Braking equipment.
