Single-speed electric hoist refers to a hoist with only one hoisting speed, that is, a normal speed. The hoisting speed varies according to the tonnage. The model indicated is the CD1 type.
The representative of the two-speed electric hoist is the MD1 wire rope electric hoist, which has two speeds: normal speed and slow speed. The structure of the main and auxiliary motors achieves two-speed performance. MD1 type two-speed electric hoist is equipped with ZDS type two-speed motor, and the ratio of normal speed and slow speed of ZDS type motor is 10:1.
The slow speed of the two-speed electric hoist is one-tenth of the normal speed. The main motor is at normal speed, and the auxiliary motor is at slow speed. An independent slow mechanism is composed of the auxiliary motor, the intermediate gear, and the main motor brake disc with gears. We have already talked about the MD type electric hoist brake. They generate friction when the brake wheel of the main motor brakes. Connected into a dual motor group.
The working principle of the two-speed electric hoist is: when the main motor is connected to the power supply, the motor rotor overcomes the pressure of the brake spring and produces axial displacement, which causes the brake wheel to disengage from the brake disc of the slow mechanism, and the main motor runs normally , The mechanism rises or falls at a constant speed. After the power is cut off, the brake wheel of the main motor is reconnected with the slow mechanism under the action of the brake spring. When the auxiliary motor is connected to the power supply, the auxiliary motor shaft also produces axial displacement, and the auxiliary motor's brake opens. The main motor brake wheel is driven by the reduction gear, the main motor rotates together, and the mechanism rises or falls at a slow speed.
Two-speed electric hoists are often used in assembly workshops. Slow speed can make the lowering position more accurate and the lifting products more balanced.
