The requirements of KPD electric flat car on conductive track

KPD series low-voltage rail electric flat cars are 36V low-voltage rail-powered electric flat cars, which are powered by rail sliding contact lines to start the electric flat cars. Since cables are not used, it is safe and reliable during operation, not afraid of smashing, not afraid of hot, and not obstructing cross transportation. It is easy to realize remote control and automation, which brings great convenience to the layout of the plant.

Since the KPD type electric rail flat car uses rail power supply, its safety factors must be taken into consideration. The editor will explain the requirements of the KPD type rail flat car on the conductive track.

1) The resistance between the rails is not less than 10 ohms. For this reason, the rails should be insulated. Asphalt is applied to the bottom of the rail, and a 5mm insulating rubber sheet is cushioned. Asphalt sand is filled on both sides of the rail.

2) The actual voltage on the 36V rail should not be greater than 42V. When the line is not started, it should not be less than 30V, otherwise a compensation line must be added.

3) The maximum running distance on both sides of the step-down transformer can be referred to the table below, and the maximum distance on one side is half of the value listed in the table. When the distance is longer, the number of step-down transformers can be increased to implement multi-point power supply. The transformers should be connected to the same power phase point. Generally, the number of transformers should not exceed 3.

4) For rails with seams, there should be a chamfer of 5mm×45 degrees at the joints of the rails to avoid collision with the lower edge of the friction block. It is recommended to weld the rails by welding, and the joints should be ground flat after welding.

5) KPD series are 36V low-voltage rail-powered electric flat cars, powered by rail sliding contact lines. The track construction requirements are high, and the track must be insulated. Metal parts are forbidden to touch two tracks at the same time.

Low-voltage rail flat cars are a type of rail flat cars, which can only be used for the transportation of heavy objects on fixed routes.
