The role of crane hook safety buckle

The hook safety buckle is the standard name of the safety hook. It is an anti-tripping device that is compressed by a spring on the crane hook . It is also called a wire rope anti-offset device. A safety device that prevents the hoisting wire rope from falling off the hook and causing an accident. It is one of the important parts to ensure the safe operation of the crane. Regardless of the 1-20 ton hook used by the single-beam crane or the hundreds-ton hook used by the double-beam crane, it is necessary to install anti-tripping.

1. The hook has no anti-decoupling device

This kind of hook is very dangerous and is prone to accidents. The country has issued relevant policies to abolish this kind of hook;

2. The failure or damage of the hook anti-off hook device will also cause the hook off

After the heavy object is hung, the anti-decoupling device will automatically return to protect and prevent the wire rope from falling off the hook. If the anti-decoupling hook device is damaged, the protective effect will be lost, resulting in the occurrence of decoupling accidents;

Inspection of crane safety hook

1.  When the trolley runs along the full length of the main girder, there should not be any jamming between the safety hook and the track and the main girder web, and the webs can be scraped.
2.  The clearance between the safety hook and the track should meet the design requirements.
3.  There should be no loosening or misalignment of the bolts, no cracks in the welds, and no abnormal deformation or damage to the safety hook.

During inspection, functional inspection shall be used as the basic method for visual inspection and operation test.

The anti-decoupling device on the crane hook requires that each tonnage must be provided. If it is not, it will not be passed during the inspection.
