What is a manual hoist and its characteristics and usage

The manual hoist is a simple and portable manual lifting tool. It can lift heavy objects in new plants, docks and open-air places without power supply. The manual hoist can also be used together with the running trolley to walk on I-beam and other tracks. Generally, the lifting capacity shall not exceed 100t. The shell of the manual hoist is made of high-quality alloy steel, which is firm, wear-resistant and high safety.

Working principle of manual hoist

When the chain block lifts the weight upward, pull the chain block clockwise and press the friction plate, ratchet wheel and brake seat into one and rotate together with the rotation of the chain wheel. The rotation of the long shaft gear drives the plate gear and the short shaft assembly, the short shaft drives the spline gear, and the spline gear drives the lifting sprocket. The lifting sprocket drives the lifting chain, so as to lift the weight smoothly. When lowering, pull the chain block counterclockwise,

The brake seat is separated from the friction plate, the ratchet wheel is stationary under the action of the pawl, and the five tooth long shaft drives the lifting sprocket to run in the opposite direction, so as to lower the weight smoothly.

Chain block generally adopts ratchet and friction plate one-way brake, which can brake automatically under load. The pawl engages with the ratchet wheel under the action of spring, and the brake works safely. This is the working principle of chain block.

What are the use methods of manual hoist

1. It shall be used in strict accordance with the standard weight requirements of the product and shall not be used beyond the standard weight range.

2. Do not throw the gourd.

3. Carry out regular maintenance according to the use requirements of explosion-proof tools.

4. The lifting chain of this product has the explosion-proof performance achieved by surface treatment with special process, which must be checked before each use.

5. Before use, the lifting chain shall be checked for wear and scratch marks on the surface. It is strictly prohibited to use.

Problems needing attention when using manual hoist

1. The mechanical parts of the equipment should be checked before the manual hoist is lifted. The wire ropes, hooks, stoppers, etc. should be intact, the electrical parts should be checked for electricity leakage, and the grounding device should be good. Every time a heavy object is hoisted, stop and check the braking condition when hoisting 10cm away from the ground, and then start working after confirming that it is intact. Rainproof sheds should be provided for open-air operations.

2. It is not allowed to use electric hoist for overloading. When lifting, do not hold your hands between the rope and the object. When the hanging object rises, avoid collision.

3. Lifting objects should be tied firmly and in the center of gravity. When hoisting and walking, the heavy objects should not be too high off the ground, heavy objects are strictly prohibited from passing over people's heads, and heavy objects should not be suspended in the air between work.

Four. The manual hoist has a peculiar smell during the lifting process, and the high temperature should be stopped and checked immediately to find out the reason, and then continue to work after handling.

5. The wire rope of the manual hoist should be wound neatly on the drum. When the hook is placed at the lowest position, the wire rope on the drum should not be less than three times.

6. Use the suspension cable electrical switch to start, the insulation must be good, the sliding must be free, and the push button must be operated correctly and attention to the standing position of the person.

7. During lifting, when a heavy object falls due to a malfunction, emergency measures must be taken to lower the heavy object to no one.

8. Lifting heavy objects must be lifted vertically, and heavy objects are not allowed to be pulled diagonally. Do not lift objects with unclear weight.

9. After the work is completed, the electric hoist should stop at the designated position, the hook should be raised, and the power supply should be cut off.
